Sleep: This is so important. First of let me say this; if you are a new mom or dad, I understand it is hard to get your 7-8 hours in and sometimes impossible, that’s when the next two parts play a huge role making sure your body is able to cope. Sleep is such a huge topic, but for right now let’s discuss sleep in relation to recovery. Our body is working hard on breaking down and eliminating waste products while we sleep, creating new cells, replenishing our energy levels to name a few.
Tips: Strive for consistency with your sleeping routine, try to get at least 7-8 hours every night.
